For reasons known only to my subconscious, I hate putting buttons on projects. But I was very well-behaved and added the buttons as soon as this was off the blocking mats. Present for dad ✅️

A knitted cowl with rows of white stags, penguins and polar bears. Behind it is Jamie Lorax's the doodle knit directory and yarn, a pair of scissors and needles are scattered. For the top and bottom panels I used Smokey Grey Magus with Elegant Eggshell. The blue stripes are Blue Knight and the middle panel is Alessandro Midnight Black, Elegant Eggshell and a little bit of Sun-Kissed Persimmon. I used DK weight in merino/silk and the middle had a little merino/nylon/sparkle blend.

Finished a little neck warmer as part of a xmas gift for a neighbor's kid who is always playing outside, so he'll have something to keep him warm. I also thought he could make up a story abt the polar bears, penguins, & white stags on his #knitcowl. 🧶
