It’s #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek and this year’s theme #KnowYourselfGrowYourself got me reflecting.

As a child, I struggled with anxiety. I didn’t know I was neurodivergent - or that school isn’t the best place for every learner.

💬 What advice would you give your younger self?

A young child walks in sunny woodland, leading a group, holding a walking stick, and smiling at the nature around them. Copy alongside image reads: So much about introducing kids to woods & trees is about helping them understand their environment as well as their place within it. Getting out in nature can have huge benefits for mental health. We need to ensure we share those benefits with children so they grow up stronger and more resilient. #KnowYourselfGrowYourself www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk
