Estimated to have been produced c. 1736-95 in the Kangxi reign. Love Chinese pottery, particularly figurines. The costumes are exquisite and they often have expressions full of character. Image shows a matching pair of smiling porcelain female figures. They are wearing beautifully detailed matching court robes and traditional scraped back hairstyles. Each holds a dish in which a candle would have stood.
