The kitty is drawn with stringer and the sunflowers are made from murrine. It's all on a silver ladder blue background with many layers of clear to magnify.

Just keep making happy little trees. Mine are made with thin pieces of glass called stringer that act as my paintbrushes. Make trees in whatever medium you've got available.

Finally finished the lampwork glass billiards balls this week. It's very satisfying to rack them. I decorated the tip of a glass rod to play around with them. While they are pretty durable, I probably shouldn't hit them with a pool cue

Is your cat like this? Just mine?
As with all my work, this marble is made from effetre soft glass. The cat and graffiti are all made with spaghetti like strands of glass applied freehand at the flame.
