A landscape oriented image taken on a beach on the island of Lefkada. Standing on the shoreline looking along the beach to the right. The beach has pebbles not sand they fill the right corner of the image with the cool blue sea filling the left, the top third is sky with hints of orange and yellow as it’s sunset. On the right of the horizon at the far end of the beach is a cliff. A little way along the beach they are some large boulders/rocks in the sea.

A landscape oriented image of a beach at sunset. We’re on a Greek island, Lefkada, just after the sun has dropped from the sky. The black, volcanic, sand goes diagonally from above centre on the left to the bottom right corner. In the bottom right is a low rock, the gentle waves are just hitting it. In the low light it was a fairly long exposure so the sea appears milky and calm. To be fair it was quite calm. The top third is filled with sky that glows orange and red along the horizon. Also on the horizon, over on the left are a line of three small rock islands. The balance out the single rock on the foreshore.

A few more pics from the trails of #lefkada. My route around Skaros mountain (home of the Daleks?) involved a troublesome disappearing path - whereas a lower level route on the hillside above Nidri was far more runnable. #running #trailrunning
