Slow worms (also called blindworms and hazelworms) are a small #genus (#Anguis) of snake-like #leglessLizards in the family #Anguidae. The genus contains five extant living #species, including the #commonSlowWorm (A. fragilis), the #easternSlowWorm (A. colchica), the #GreekSlowWorm (A. graeca).
