Curse that forsaken order! #Aaravos never truly saw sense in his Heavenly Laws that made one a lesser being just because you were out the normal or a human. He wouldn't have #Leola, if he would stick to it.

First panel is a close-up of Leola's hand, fiddling with the long front strand of Aaravos whyle she wants to ask him somehting. Second panel, she eyes the strand absently, while she asks if he would change something with her, if he had a chance, kowing all too well, she's no ordinary child. Middle panel shows Aaravos leaning in from sitting behind Leola, prompting, he'd not change a single thing with her, while she looks over her shoulder, explicitly asking him, if he'd not even change her single horn into two, like he has. Last panel he gently lifts her chin, so she can look into his eyes, her face bringht and beaming, when he tells her, that for nothing in whole Xadia, he would change that. There's nothing more bland than all looking the same!

#Leola is well aware that she differs from other children but #Aaravos loves her just the way she is. Unique, quirky, explorative - everything is a wonder, seen through the eyes of a child.

First panel is a close-up on Aaravos' face, telling his girl that her idea of sorting his books is amazing, as she is to him. But he also would prefer his books to be in the order he had set them.The second panel is a close-up of Leola, turning towards him, agreeing to his point of view and she allows him to sort them again while she will take care of his messed up hair then. The last panel shows both sitting on the ground of the studies, she kneeling with her back to him, taking one of his long front strands to braid. He waves his hands, eyes and chest star slightly gleaming in magic to sort his flying books under aid of telekinesis. He tells her, she is lucky he can provide both: sorting books and sitting still to her creative endeavours. Leola confirms, that she indeed his very happy and that he'll be too, when she's done with hair until her friend will come over to play with her.

First panel: Leola leads her father into his studies because she wants to show him something. In the second panel we see one part of a fabulously sorted book-shelft: not only by colour but also by size. Third panel shows Aaravos shocked expression, not knowing if he should cry, laugh or simply pass out. His whole books have been sorteted that way - Leola's way. Last panel shows Leola hugging her dad from the side, beaming in joy because she so much loves his many books. He covers his mouth to not show her, how much ... in distress he is about ... her ways of organasing his things. She has her unique views.

First panel shows disheveled Aaravos and Leola in their little, rural kitchen - Aaravos is collecting everything for breakfast with his telekinesis why he asks his little girl, if she already has brushed her teeth, which she confirms and adds, she has brought his toothbrush as well. In the second panel, she shoves the toothbrush into his mouth before has can say something, reminding his of their rule: no breakfast without brushing. In the following panel Leola gets aware of her father's disheveled looks and asks him, why he is in such great disorder. He wants to mock her a little without saying, that she was the one by coming to him so early and ruffle through his hair, instead says he assumes to have been visited by Adorraburrs even earlier this morning and the sticky little creatures to be the cause of his wild looks. In the last panel Leola is overjoyed in hearing there's Adorraburrs around so early and promises to be up even earlier tomorrow then, my while Aaravos clearly resigns with that proclamation.

Morning routine is everything for #Leola so #Aaravos has to go through it as well. But less sleep sometimes let's him slip in some words, therefore giving his little unicorn ideas he didn't expect

The first panel shows sleeping Aaravos, lying on his side because of his long horns, glad in only some breeches in a canopy bed. Second panel shows a pair of eyes with large pupils coming up from behind, a duffle horn reveals it is like Leola. The third panel shows Leola carefully climbing over Aaravos' shoulder, nearing his head - she seems to have a plan. The last panel is a close-up where Leola presses her hand over his nose to wake her daddy up, while she ruffles though his hair between his horns, explaining, she's ready for breakfast - after she had asked if he is awake.

Claudia showing up with a witches hat and a pumpkin basket to on onto some truck and treat, greeting Aaravos and her taken-on little sister
Claudia's eyes have grown wide, when she discovers, Aaravos and Leola have put their costumes on in the wrong way: the holes in them are not where they are supposed to be.
Aaravos stands there, Leola up his arm to his left side. Both are covered in ghostly blankets but Aaravos had used the holes from the eyes for their horns to peek through. Leola has the advantage of only having one horn, therefore she can use the second hole for an eye to look out. Aaravos asks Claudia then, where their horns have to go, when the holes are not fit their horns. Leola whispers, she has told him, those holes were not for horns and suggests, he should use his magic now and become creative
Aaravos snaps his fingers and creates more holes: now he can have both horns and both eyes peeking through the blanket and Leola's fit is now corrected to one horn and two eyes. She also now has a pumpkin basket and calls or for trick or treat
Happy #Halloween to all who celebrate it.
I think, these three would nail any trick or treat run - and our famous Starmage would also do it with style 😏

Three panels up show Aaravos' eyes in closeup. In the first he says" and to make it worse, I lied to you because you were so afraid". His eyes are filling with tears. In the second, he has to close them, tears falling free, saying "I lied, saying you'd go to a place of ever-flowing love". In the third he opens his eyes, their gold turning into a purplish power-brim, staring up to an unseen entity saying "but there is no love in the heavens. Not among them". The lower left panel then shows him sitting in his chair, half body pose, touching his burnt-out star on his chest. "They struck me a wound so deep in me... It will never heal.". In the last we see a bit more of him, pondering on his chair, gently stroking over his star. "To survive such a wound, is to suffer forever".

The page shows several panels, the upper ones being memories when Aaravos hugs his daughter for a last time, both staring then at the unseen force that finally drags her anyway from him, his hand losing his grip on her little fingers, when the heavens sentence her to death. In the last panel he sits in his chair in his home, her ghost still lingering about, reminding him how she always used to sit on his lap, fiddling with his fingers and playing with his long strands of white hair. He still can feel her...

Little Startouch elf Leola with her one horn protruding from her forehead sits on her father's shoulders between his both horns. They share so many things like their dazzling looks it is purest joy for aaravos, seeing his daughter to be so special. Leola is unique in many ways and though some thought her "strange", "odd", Aaravos knows she is a wonder. She is curious, quirky and joyous befriending everyone and everything around her, disvovering and sharing all she has to give. She shows her father, what more Xadia has to give, for she sees things different and does not care about any cosmic order - this world is full of wonders, life itself. That is worth exploring to the fullest! And she intends on sitting up on his shoulders as long as she fits between his horns, which most likely will be for a long while, since Startouch elves have the longest and greatest horns among the elves.
More of these two: #aaravos and little #leola exploring Xadia together. I'm doing more stuff of them (a short graphic novel with funny 'father moments').

Aaravos half sits, half lies besides his daughter Leola, who is reading in a book. They are in his study room, all about them sorted things: primal stones, tea and cake, though Aaravos' piece of cake already has toppled over. Leola might already thinking about sorting her father's books then - she has her own sense of order, which sometimes is a bless and a curse. But one thing she has to say to everyone: "I wish that even in the dark - sad, afraid, alone - that every child should know: you are loved"
The line between mercy and cruelty might be thin, but what they have not expected is, one of their own might choose to follow a path of revenge. It was the day he became the Fallen One.

Xadia and all its inhabitants is the perfect place for her to grow. Studying the cosmic mysteries is nothing compared to being a father. The startouch elf Aaravos sitting comfortably with crossed legs on a wide and cushioned chair, holding his beloved daugher Leola in his arms. Both have the same dazzling colour of a nightly sky, fading on face, arms and feet, sparkling with stars. While he has two formidably long and impressive horns, she only has one, protruding from her forehead. That's also why he calles her his little unicorn, while she is sorting again strands of his long hair, that falls down over his chest, instead taking her nap. He eyes are brimming in brightest pink and yellow, her hair shows signs of two-colours, a pinkish-lavender under the same white hair, her father has. They are unspakably happy having each other, they are full of joy and most of all: full of love.
Words can't describe what #Aaravos felt, holding his beloved #Leola for the first time - any many more, while they sat comfortly in their little house near the city Elarion. A place where she soon found many friends though she and her father remained the sole #Startouch elves walking upon Xadia.
