Back in S9, Ivih's levinsickness was an inevitability she felt trapped and infantilized by. Leaving the dome allowed her to run, travel, even fight without worrying about places to rest, wheelchair access, and care. She'd rather no know about her condition lest she lose this new freedom.

No one asked but, Ivih is partially based on my BG3 half elf who started out as a fighter but became a rogue bc I enjoyed the playstyle and Astarion was whining every time we wanted to help someone. So he got kicked back to camp and Ivih got to be the snarky shithead in the shadows.
