Why I quit LibreOffice for its open-source rival LibreOffice is a great office suite, but it isn't as good as OpenOffice, which is offered by Apache and is more conservative with its updates.

#ApacheOpenOffice is an almost dead project, it's fallen hugely behind on #securityupdates and #bugupdates, #LibreOffice is not only getting #featureupdates, but also security updates and bug updates.

#LibreOffice habe ich privat habe schon lange im Einsatz.

Schade, dass Hamburgs Landesbehörden im Gegensatz zu denen in #Schleswig-Holstein nicht auch schon den Umstieg auf Linux und OpenSource geschafft haben.

Die #FHH braucht wohl noch ein bisschen länger.
