A 3 dimensional fiber art piece is displayed in a hoop. The base fabric is chocolate brown, and the main structure of the piece consists of cream and brown colored burlap that is manipulated into soft, rounded shapes attached to the brown base, with frayed edges sticking out. Stitched all over the burlap, are tiny French knots and seed beads in shades of white, orange and red, which are meant to imitate clusters of sunburst lichen growth

This fiber art piece sold last year, and sometimes I wish I had made a couple of smaller pieces that were similar. I love the movement of the burlap structure that I stitched on.
