#Lilac2025 US librarians attended and it was great to have an insight into how Trumpism is having an impact on the academic environment. Deportation of foreign students is a political act. Meeting students from other countries is crucial for allowing non-Western perspectives to bloom. 😟
#lilac2025 A great experience at a conference where it is clear there is a passion for information literacy in academic libraries. The big question by some of the speakers was this: can university teaching librarians become influencers in the public community sphere? Fascinating.
