A story told through crochet. This being a houndstooth scarf in orange and blue. Reaching the final destination ( a signpost with two directions ) she reflected on her journey. She had washed up on the shore, sand and jewels at her feet. She was never scared and her eyes were filled with beauty every place she looked. The sun and the moon gave her warmth, strength and comfort to move forward. She was creating a beautiful memory while finding her footing in this strange land. Scents of herbs floated in the air. Anise was the one that reminded her of home. She recognized its warmth. She followed her nose and her instincts and grew more excited to discover herself through this unknown land. One direction on the signpost pointed to Sun-kissed Caverns while the other Houndstooth Mountain. This was a place with a map and directions which meant every path could lead to something extra special.

I’ve been telling a story through a crochet scarf which is in a burnt orange and turquoise. The image itself is dark with the turquoise houndstooth stitches appearing through the deep orange. Right now she is on the sandy coastline in the evening. Tomorrow she will head to the shoreline. She’s feeling drawn there and she still doesn’t know where she is. The glowing jewels beneath her feet are warm from the days sun and they provide a runaway if she intends to move around through the night
