Black-and-white photo of a concrete bridge wall with a triangular height-restriction sign reading ‘10′-3″’. A light is mounted just above the sign, and a large shadow falls diagonally across the textured wall.
Colour photo of a weathered concrete barrier with spray-painted graffiti. On the right panel, stencilled text reads ‘LET JESUS CHANGE YOUR STORY.’ On the left panel, a faded white number ‘4’ is painted over rough, moss-stained concrete.
Black-and-white photo of a metal pedestrian bridge with decorative lattice railings. Curved handrails run alongside the steps, and neatly trimmed hedges and grass are visible in the background.
A close-up view of a broken red wooden railing, splintered where two pieces have separated, attached to a green metal post with visible bolts. The wood shows severe damage and exposed fibers, with surrounding metal bars painted red and green.
@rojsmith.com and I had a walk around #Llanfairfechan yesterday. Popped a few shots off, and these are some of them. #photography #fotografie #fotografia
A narrow outdoor passageway bordered by a white plastered wall and a metal railing is covered in fallen brown leaves. A red and white traffic cone sits on a hexagonal base at the entrance, suggesting restricted access. The passage leads to a small stream flowing over rocks in the background. Bare vegetation and the leaf-covered ground evoke an autumn setting, blending urban and natural elements.

A weathered concrete wall features a geometric pattern of vertical and horizontal rectangular protrusions and recesses. A small metal fixture, a light, is mounted near the top left. The lower section includes a rough ledge and broken concrete base. To the right, dense foliage and a rusted metal element are partially visible, adding contrast to the aged structure.
An outdoor skatepark with smooth ramps and curved structures is enclosed by a red metal fence. The background includes bushes, a streetlamp, and a scenic view of a body of water with hills on the horizon. The sky is partly cloudy, and the foreground features green grass, blending urban sport infrastructure with natural beauty.
A narrow paved road curves through a stone archway tunnel built from dark stones. The arch features yellow and black painted segments, likely serving as visual markers. The stonework is aged and detailed, with visible mortar and weathering. The road surface shows wear, adding to the historic and utilitarian feel of the structure.
A residential entrance with a rusted decorative metal gate and stone wall is partially obscured by overgrown vegetation. Behind the gate, a white caravan is parked in a densely vegetated area. A small sign on the left reads “Bodafon Villa.” Fallen leaves on the paved road suggest an autumn setting, contributing to the secluded and mysterious atmosphere.
A nice walk around #Llanfairfechan with @grahamkidd.bsky.social this morning.

Penmaenmawr beach. North Wales. Looking out over Anglesey & Puffin Island to the East. The tide is on its way out and leaves its wavy pattern in the sand puddles glistening in the evening sunshine.
Thought I’d pop to the neighbouring town (2.5miles away) for a paddle, as the tide was too far out at home. 🏴🏖️🌊🌞
Gotta admit how unfamiliar it felt, seemed lower than sea-level 🤯

This photo shows the rear or side entrance to a building, an old bank. The entrance features a wooden double door . The surrounding wall is tiled with small mosaic-style tiles, and to the right is a section of larger sandstone-coloured blocks. There are two sets of steps with green-painted metal handrails on either side, leading up to the door. To the left, there's a sloped access ramp with a matching handrail, suggesting accessibility features. In the background, partially obscured by trees, there's a grey bin area and a white vehicle (likely a Range Rover). The scene is in daylight, with overgrown weeds and plants poking through gaps in the paving, giving the impression that this entrance isn't frequently used or maintained.

This photo captures a scene from the inside of a tunnel or underpass looking out toward a bright seafront. The tunnel walls are tiled and lit with yellow-toned lights, creating a moody, dark foreground that contrasts sharply with the bright, sunlit view outside. At the far end of the tunnel, two people are walking away from the camera — one in a beige coat, the other in a red top and shorts — heading toward the open, coastal area. You can see a hint of the blue sea and pale sky beyond them, along with a streetlight, a signpost, and a bench to the right. A tree and some low walls also frame the exit, adding a calm, almost cinematic atmosphere to the composition. The photo effectively uses contrast and framing to draw attention to the figures and the serene world outside.

This black-and-white photograph captures a rural landscape with gently rolling hills and a forested background. The foreground features an open grassy field with a few scattered bushes. Most strikingly, there are two large, curved, ribbed metal structures lying on the ground. These appear to be remnants or segments of a cylindrical or arched form — perhaps part of an agricultural structure. A tall, slender mobile phone mast stands alone to the right of centre, adding a hint of modernity or industry to the otherwise pastoral scene. The photograph has a quiet, slightly eerie feel — perhaps due to the abandoned objects and monochrome palette — and invites reflection on nature, decay, and forgotten infrastructure.

This photo depicts an empty and weathered outdoor swimming pool. The pool has a faded blue interior with visible grime, dirt, and some standing water. In the foreground, there's a depth marking that reads "0.7 ft," indicating a shallow end. The scene is framed by tall pine or fir trees in the background, silhouetted starkly against an overcast, misty sky. The image evokes a quiet, slightly melancholic atmosphere, suggesting the pool is either abandoned or out of use for the season. The overall setting gives a strong sense of stillness and isolation.

Looking up from my sunbathing chair: A clear blue sky, a fresh leaved tree on the right in the foreground. In the upper blue sky is what looks like a white butterfly, open wings in flight. Lower left is a seagull flying high above.
As I was just sitting outside in the 20°c sunshine, I took a snap of the contrasting colours of leaves & sky directly above me. 9am, in April! Hadn’t noticed the little white butterfly when I took the snap. #Butterfly #Cymru #Llanfairfechan #Wales #GlöynByw #PiliPala #UK #HottestDay🌞 🏴 🦋🥵

So much stuff going on during the night! Then.. 5:15am on a Sunday, the fire brigade, not even 2hrs after controlling the mountain fire, they’re back attending a house fire! 🚒👨🏻🚒🫶🏴 #Llanfairfechan #Fire
It’s 3am and the local fire lads out again, on the mountain, in high winds with gusts of over 45mph, fighting fires lit by a bunch of kids who’ve been at it, sometimes more than once an evening, for over two weeks. Last engine went up 1:45🤬🙏🏻
It’s getting beyond stupid now!⛰️🔥🏴 #Llanfairfechan #Fire
This photo captures a charming street scene with a vintage feel. It shows a red brick building with red-painted window frames, doors, and drainpipes. The building has an old-fashioned design, featuring large bay windows and a traditional shopfront. Parked in front is a classic Citroën Dyane, a French car popular in the 1970s and early 1980s, which adds to the retro atmosphere. The car's deep red color matches well with the building’s red accents, creating a visually cohesive image. There’s a parking sign on a pole next to the steps leading into a dark doorway, and the sidewalk is slightly littered with autumn leaves. The scene has a nostalgic and quiet urban vibe, possibly from a small British town or an older neighborhood.
Dark silhouettes of bushes & leafless trees in the foreground. Birds perched on the highest branches of the soon to be the two great trees’ verdant fingers. Beyond the distant outline, the sandy border between mainland Britain & Anglesey is barely visible in parts, as the flame coloured reflection from the sun glitter on the watery surface.
The horizontal stripes of the shaded black sand, alternating with thin streams of light & fire reflected in the pools left by the waning tide. Behind the island of Anglesey, the warm orange-red glow of an early summer sunset breathes its last breath over the land.
