Main conclusion:
"GLMMs are a theoretically sound and practically robust method and thus superior for analyzing binary judgments in social and cognitive psychology.”

Going back to some analyses as I'm (finally) writing up a paper... I found that several #lme4 models no longer converged. Seems that latest versions changed the default optimizer which, at least in my case, seems to not work as well. Thoughts/explanations? #statstwitter
