Up to 86 bird species since #lockdown was announced. All walking distance from town centre front door. I’m now a #patchbirding convert #lowcarbonbirding #lockdownbirding I’m sure it would be higher if warbler ID was better

#lockdownbirding has certainly shown me that raptors over my St. Neots (Cambs) garden can be plentiful. Pictured; 2 Red Kites, Peregrine & Buzzard. Todays totals, via casual observing are 3, 2 and 14 in respective order, plus Sparrowhawk (Kestrel is rare here!) @CambsBirdClub

My #lockdownbirding involves most time looking at a field of #peas that is very attractive to Skylarks, Yellowhammers and, of course. Woodpigeons. Passage Northern Wheatears love it too. Brown Hares dash across. Mistle Trushes fill their beaks! Await Yellow Wagtails @NFFNUK

Sandwich my 4th earliest (after 4/4/12, 27/3/05, 18/3/11); also Willow Warbler in Bents ystdy (my earliest), and 2 House Martin over the house this morning (also my earliest), these all likely a result of #lockdownbirding
