We're on one side of a wide but empty road looking at a brick building that's clearly been abandoned and closed down for many years. The building has two storeys of dark bricks, a dirty brown colour with pollution perhaps, and has a small, shallow, sloping roof of grey tiles, a few of which are missing. The building is wide and symmetrical. On the ground floor there is a door at either end and two, wide rectangular windows leading in to the centre. The centre contains a larger window flanked by two more doors all under a dirty cream overhang sporting the words "Fully Licensed". All the doors and windows are boarded over with plywood and the two rightmost doors have some faded posters and pub signs on them. The upper floor contains the pub name as a series of artistic letters attached to the brickwork spelling out "The Contented Pig" and to the left and right of the sign there are three square windows, boarded up in the same way as below. A pub sign can also be seen jutting out on the right side of the building over the road. The sky is mostly cloudy with a small patch of bright blue but the overall tone of the view is gloomy.
