Peak Lane, Fareham, Hampshire.
The road was straightened in the late 60s / early 70s to remove a dog’s leg & give more direct access to Stubbington village.
The original route is still visible in 3 sections, intersected by the new route of Peak Lane & the new Daedalus Way.

A narrow footpath leads from a grassy green mead between flowering thorn trees and bushes. Patches of daisies cluster like fallen stars where the path narrows and follow it to disappear into greenery.
