A large hollowed tree leans across the frame. The background a lush forest, obscured by cold blue fog. The trees enormous size overshadows the still living and large trees that surround it. It features a large carved out channel extending through most of the frame, burned and carved by an old fire. The tree is covered in mosses lichens.

This tree has sadly fallen over since I took this image, but, to think of how incredible this tree was when it was alive, before it was hollowed out by a fire. At its death, the tree was over 1.5m in diameter! That's thick!

A closeup of a massive waterfall. The water and shadows a deep blue colour due to the strong shadows cast across the scene. The water trickles down hundreds of small sharper rocks, with many of these rocks formed so they point upwards, splitting the water jn multiple thin threads of water. The exposure is long so the water paths as it weaves between these sharp rocks is clear. The rocks also form a circular shape with a bowl like shape in the middle. Its what made me think of a crown and gave the image its name.
