One thing I took away from #LTUK25 is this: instructional designers need to be more business savvy. Not just for influence, but for clarity.
It helps us ask better questions, build more relevant solutions, and align learning to real performance needs. It’s not about “talking like the business.”

Evening before a conference when you are sitting in a hotel foyer and you overhear people talking about upskilling, but no one has their lanyard yet so the dilemma of saying ‘hello!’ Or waiting until after first day of conference when everyone is wearing their lanyards 🙂
