Postage stamp variation: maybe it needs an additional border on the sides but it's already plenty big enough so I won't worry about it right now. This is finished top #4 in my work-in-progress basket. As a hand quilter I'm getting way ahead of myself.

When you're working with teeny tiny two inch pieces of fabric it takes a long time to turn them into bigger pieces of fabric. I don't know how other quilters can say "look what I made this weekend!"

Inserted some leftover blue and gray chrysanthemum fabrics to keep it from being too monotonous and I'm not sure how it worked but "it is what it is and I meant to do that."
Maybe it needs one more border? ...but I guess I don't have to decide today.

Machine pieced quilt top using strips of (mostly) Christmas themed novelty fabrics.
Now it's folded up and put away under two other finished tops that are waiting to be sandwiched and hand quilted into completed quilts. So maybe in time for next Christmas?

It was annoying, but I fixed the boo boo, then added two more rows.
Still not 100% happy with the project: a lot of the blocks are not precisely matching up to my usual standards. But oh well....it reflects my current attitude, I guess.

Making a start on my next project: don't know if it's called a "basket weave" or "lattice" pattern. Made a graph using Google sheets to plot it all out, then have to make sure not to turn any of the pieces the wrong way!
