My Apple Watch is set to unlock my Mac. I’ll be sitting in the same room but not at the keyboard. I feel a haptic tap and my watch says the computer was just unlocked. Because it received a notification from an app.

Wondering if anyone else has seen similar.

I wanted to conditionally show and hide the playback controls of the AVPlayer in AppKit.

I did this by providing a decimal, so when the value was below a certain number, I would hide the playback controls.

I previously introduced a Claude Code book in [2026-01-16-1] , but this time I’ll write about my own workflow. Development Environment I work on my MacBook’s built-in display. I’m not really someone who uses external monitors. I display the macOS built-in Terminal.app in full screen and use tmux . I don’t split tmux windows—instead, I switch between tabs (windows). I haven’t (yet?) switched to Ghostty or iTerm2 .
