Went out with friends, stayed mostly unplugged, and shopped indie. I did my best to #MakeitaGoodDay. I hope others were able to as well.

Forgive the reskeet, but I'm really trying to get traction for this to help people who are feeling powerless or lost. You can #MakeitaGoodDay to create your own sense of hope and power against what is coming!

Reminder of #MakeitaGoodDay, in which you do something for yourself, your community, or your planet instead of giving attention to mainstream media and/or monopolistic retail on January 20th. You weren't going to be watching anyway, so find a way to do something good to feel good (if you can).

I'm trying to gently spread the concept of #MakeitaGoodDay, where folks that are able all try to do something good for the planet instead of streaming or shopping monopolistic retail. Something as small as an indie purchase or a donation to as big as a park or beach cleanup.

Has anyone else pointed out that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is also on the 20th? #MakeitaGoodDay is in NO WAY meant to steal attention away from Dr. King's messages of resistance and resiliency, and in fact I hope honors them with acts of love for our planet and each other as a form of protest.

I'm really trying to organize and power through this group project even though our above average passing grade is a fond memory. I'm grateful to every person that participates. This is action and the type of proactive community work we HAVE to learn to do. #MakeitaGoodDay

Acts that can be considered part of the #MakeitaGoodDay Challenge are things that are done in order to assist and appreciate nature. On larger scales there can be community park and beach cleanups, garden and tree planting initiatives, and donating old goods to shelters and services supporting them.

I tried to make an infographic but graphic design is not my passion. I can, however, try to start a movement with a hashtag and I hope you'll read through my pitch and (if you're on board) not only spread the message, but also do your best to participate.
