This is a chart laying out the stitch pattern in the knitted patches which read ICE OUT. The first instruction is to cast on 15 stitches of the background color. Then there is a 15 x 15 square to follow, starting with a knitted row. The second row is purled, and that knit-purl pattern is continued, using the chart to place colors. The last row is knitted, before casting off and weaving in ends.
