Let’s try speed zones, cameras at both ends Drivers in Europe are familiar with what they call “speed zones.” Approaching a small village or school, for instance, you might find a sign indicating a speed zone ahead, all operated with cameras at each end. GPS will also warn. Everything is automated, including the ticket. A good friend in Zurich told me about local traffic entering a roundabout too fast. There were many concerns about the cost of the cameras, but the expenditure was paid for in three weeks. The fines are expensive, so you’d probably learn your lesson quickly. I have driven in different countries & can say that #Canadian roads are some of the most dangerous I have experienced. Signage and lighting are generally substanded. I drive the #Malahat regularly its appalling in terms of safety. It needs lighting, barriers & cats eyes & maybe speed cameras.
