Protected areas means nothing today. When less than 2.7% of Canadian #forests are #oldgrowth, it means nothing that 11% of forests are in protected areas. Germany lost 75% of ALL insects in protected nature reserves in 2-3 decades. We are in denial while everything is dying around us.
