Sprained my finger last week and have to keep it in a splint till the joint heals. I'm told it could be weeks...

Thankfully, I can still type with the remaining fingers. Voice-to-text helps too.

Saw doctor yesterday. Apparently fat red sausage finger is perfectly normal and he's very happy with it. No need to see him again unless it drops off, or something. Lots of stretching every day. It'll take months to get back to how it used to be. #malletfinger
