Well here is how the new mascot costume worked out. Besides tried it out the shirt was removable and decided to try a 3XL shirt I had. Besides putting it to good use I hope to dress it up too.

A kangaroo in a ringmaster-esque outfit (tailcoat, waist coat, bow tie, boots) pulls a harnessed and collared lion mascot by a leash. A second image shows the lion mascot lying down and being petted on the stomach by their "handler" kneeling beside them.
