I thoroughly enjoyed #annajames Alice with a Why. Keeping the playfulness of the original both in words and plot whilst adding new characters along with the old. It’s a quick read (less than 180 pages), funny, silly and illustrated superbly by #matthewland #ukkidlit #kidlituk
