Mavis Pusey: una vision de la ciudad más allá del hard-edge Mavis Pusey fue una artista nacida en Jamaica en 1928. Estudió artes en Nueva York y Londres, vivió un año en París y finalmente se instaló en el barrio de Chelsea, en Nueva York, donde comenzó su carrera profesional. Disfrutó de cierto reconocimiento artístico y participó en algunas exposiciones colectivas importantes. A finales de los ochenta tuvo que trasladarse a Virginia donde se enfocó en la docencia y ya con problemas de salud falleció en 2019, arruinada y prácticamente en el olvido.
