My last track (Hotter) was not exactly up to my mixing/mastering standards, but this one is more in the direction I'd like it to be. May remix/remaster that last one.

Added some drum variations, making for a total of 5 different chord progressions and 8 drum variations.
Interestingly, even though some things are quicker in the DAW, a lot of the creative workflow is actually quicker on the #roland #mc707

#roland #mc707 tip: While it does not have a dedicated "widener" FX, you can abuse the Mid/Side Compressor for it.
Simplest setup is to leave the thresholds for both M and S at 0db (so it doesn't actually compress), and give S a higher post-gain than M.
But you can compress if you want of course.
