Planting native shrubs along little creek today and came across about a dozen feathers from a northern flicker. That is the circle of life. Doing our part to plant food and cover.

Only 5% of pasture in Germany was "natural meadows" before instead of forests. Cow destroyed half of all forest cover, 90% of old growth.
