I think this is intentional! Similar to how in phase 2, Zo Shia's phase 1 melody is repeatedly interrupted & broken down while new parts like Black Fatalis' choir pop up. The music is fighting and phase 2 is winning!

#MHWildsSpoilers ok so i'm gonna infodump my thoughts about this later. but the thing about Wylk and the Guardian monsters is that in the long run it seems like Wylk causes aggressive behaviour. supposedly the Guardians are "feral" but like... all of them fight each other.

1. As a species, knightly protectors and essentially white blood cells of the Dragontorch and its region
2. A genetically modified species *before* Guardianship. Potentially another form of Equal Dragon Weapon (an element drainer would be a good EDW)

I loved gore's updated fight in rise, and how it was more fast paced to fit the faster fighting in rise. but im glad wilds has just...it's just the fight from 4 ported over lmao. (same with nerscylla..) hOWEVER holy hell the small arena rooms..
