A Work in Progress, the first layer is in acrylic as the under painting, I have put the first layer of oil on the sky only so far. Is the cloud lonely or is it independant?, just loved how it was the only cloud in a sea of blue sky with just the top of the 5 storey Victorian seaside guest houses. This will be a part of my Urban Beauty series of my local town here on the East Sussex coast in the UK.

So after this dried I wasn't happy with it, painting small children is notoriously hard, the wrong mark can destroy a painting. So I tweaked it and now it is finished. Oil on Birchwood panel 23cms x 31cms.

A commission from a returning customer, the 4th family member I have painted is of the youngest, Sonny sitting on a tree stump. His mum sent me 8-10 photos by the photographer ##jasmineogilvie she wanted the photo of him on the stump but his face in that photo wasn't as nice as a head shot in another photo, so with artistic license I have put a different face on the body!. Lots to do yet.
