Using temperature-humidity loggers and long-term #markrecapture data in the #EasternHimalaya, my Bachelor's thesis research shows that species with larger shifts in their #microclimatic niches due to #selectivelogging face the steepest #survival declines in the logged forest.
The #Biodiversity Assessments at Small Scales (BASS) project is to study how #microclimatic conditions (e.g. solar radiation) influence biodiversity dynamics within a Mediterranean context.
