Further ranting about #endometriosis and #endoawareness, I received the #Mirena #IUD 3 weeks ago and since then have developed a 3.5 cm ovarian cyst, am advised to avoid strenuous activity due to the risk of rupture or torsion. So, effective route of symptom management or nah? #perpetuallyirrelevant

At every point following my Mirena insertion I was told my blood readings were normal. Getting my medical records I can now see at every point they were abnormally high. And not by a little, we're talking going from normal to level 2 for over 24 hours.

Personal note: just got a #Mirena IUD as a 1st step in #Endometriosis treatment. I've been in chronic pain for a long time. Still in pain, weaker now, but 100% constant. 1st day was ok bc pain meds, but now Day 5 I'm so so sooo tired. Tired of smiling/working/living like it's all fine. #womenshealth
