Deze analoge met inches vind ik heel fijn, als je je best doet tot 0.025mm meten, en anders heb ik ook een #mitutoyo micrometer. Mooi spul hoor.
a technical note: this subject was seemingly simple and then difficult to photograph - the coffee grounds are very dark and the fungus very light - also everything is moist and glossy.
My level of diffusion is not enough for the subject.

Mitutoyo calipers on my workbench with an italic logo engraved on the head.
Full view of the calipers with inches and cm scales, accuracy is 0.05mm.
New old tool in the Beta Lab: #Mitutoyo calipers I randomly found on eBay for little money. Not exactly sure how to date these but the logo appears to be the one used roughly from 1962 to 1965 (according to leftover.engineering/2020/09/06/m...). They are still VERY accurate as far as I can see. <3
