the other day while digging through old files i found the beginning of the first book i ever decided i was going to write. it's a ten-year-old story i feel it's the right time now to tell.

things i miss having the confidence to do: livewrites. it's exhilarating to put on a performance like that but GOOD FUCKING GOD do you have to be secure in your writing ability to do it and not shrivel up and blow away in the wind out of embarrassment afterward

tfw you remember an old character you still really love and want to work with again, and part of that includes redesigning her eldritch form bc someone else had stepped in to do it and whitewashed her to hell, but the art app you're stuck with is Awful for drawing her hair texture. pain
