Three simple questions: Do you support Auckland Council’s draft replacement for Plan Change 78 that maintains citywide housing capacity while focusing new homes near rapid transit and town centres, and strengthening natural-hazard protections? Do you support significant height and density by public transport - including 10 - 15 storeys around rail stations, and more homes within ~200m of key frequent bus routes - to maximise the benefits of the City Rail Link? Do you support refining special character protections where they prevent housing choice in our most accessible locations - noting that the draft proposes a modest reduction from Plan Change 78 of about 4.56% from 16,090 to 15,357 properties?

Of course, candidates are busy on the campaign trail, so we kept it simple with three easy questions about the proposed replacement for plan change 78, which would enable #MoreHomes close to jobs and transport.

This link between fourplexes & accessibility is one reason it's so great that @TinaKotek's "middle housing" legalization in OR includes fourplexes, and that CA's #MoreHomes Act would legalize a fourplex on every lot.
