The landlord never stole from his tenants, apart from one simple area.

A bit of a chef, he frequently entered apartments and measured out what he needed from their spice cabinets. Cardamom, za'atar, saffron...

No one noticed.

Some moved in and out without ever opening the containers at all #mptod

Scared of heights my mother was never one to #overshadow.
Instead she stuck to under. Spreading oily darkness, keeping her ideas, belly and manipulation close to the sticky, unswept floor.
