10 years ago today (April 8, 2026) I was at Kennedy Space Center for the #SpaceX CRS-8 launch #NASASocial event. It was the first successful recovery landing of the Falcon 9 rocket and the whole place went wild with cheers. www.nasa.gov/wp-content/u...

Like millions of other people around the world, I watched Artemis II leave the planet last night.
I thought of Harrison “Jack” Schmitt, Apollo 17 Lunar Module Pilot, who I was privileged to have interviewed early in my career.
