Trying out the #neocolor2 I splurged on for my birthday. Decided to do a typical sunset gradient so I could see how they worked. Overall they are interesting and less messy. Good for things you want the look on but can't do all the water with.

I still work with a limited color palette. The background color is created from a mix of Neocolor II crayons, blended on a
palette and applied with a brush. I donโt use Neocolor II entirely like gouache nor entirely like oil pastels โ instead, I

I couldnโt resist getting the full box of 84 Neocolor II crayons, but I only
ever use a handful of colors at a time. I like to mix them directly on the

brothers and sisters.
I work with Neocolor II crayons and smoothing with a papier towel or a water brush (felt tip is my favourite), using as little water as possible.
