I presented a poster at @netsciconf.bsky.social on legal co-citational networks!

Lots of wonderful colleagues, intellectually stimulating discussions and a congenial environment that made me feel at home.

Even street lights were… network-like!

#NetSci2025 in Maastricht was fantastic! I had great chances to present my works at the satellite-Critical Phenomena In Networks (CPIN) and the parallel session-Mobility and spatial networks. I thank to all of my collaborators and mentors for amazing support :)

Federico Battiston discusses main general challenges in network science on both dynamics and structure of networks. His message was clear: we need to measure dependencies from multivariate time-series to apply our most sophisticated mathematical tools.

Time-respecting path problem: getting by train to Düsseldorf. Your first train is cancelled. Should you wait for a direct connection (to be cancelled with probability p) or pick a route with many hops (p again per hop, but increasing number of alternatives). There must be a DAG for this #NetSci2025

Now @gin-bianconi.bsky.social gives us an overview of network science, going from multilayer to higher-order networks. I truly enjoyed her lecture. I learned a lot of new interesting stuff which now I am willing to explore/review for #complexitycat!

Final shift at @netsciconf.bsky.social presenting my poster on nonequilibrium brain network dynamics.

Also got to see our fearless leader, Renaud Lambiotte, collect his well-deserved Fellowship.

Our last #NetSci2025 keynote speaker is Michael Macy, who discussed polarization not from the opinion perspective but from the people point of view. His work was very insightful when showing the importance of 'early movers' when generating polarization cascades. @netsciconf.bsky.social

What if edge weights are MATRICES? 🤯 We showed matrix-weights are a natural represention of multidimensional interactions (eg your climate views influencing my economic beliefs), generalizing the notion of communities & structural balance. Find us to discuss more. #NetSci2025
