Finito! Magnetic screen for the back door with "Dog Door" (designed so they have a cue to where the nose goes, because they tend to go in & outside from the sides, as shown by the old screen this one is replacing); they would never go through the middle (where the magnets are) 🙄 Added weight to the bottom of the screen with 2 black plastic sheet protectors from a notebook binder to allow the screen to snap back via its magnets; there's enough screening covering the door opening even when 🐾Edgar🐾 careens through it 😹 This screening was left over from another project, but had been cut, leaving two pieces [with magnets intact]; the trick was to make them work in tandem for this doorway Sewed most of the two pieces together after turning the smaller piece around, creating an already "finished" bottom (its own bonded polyester border) Attached the Velcro tabs along the inner doorframe & the screen borders on the finished screening and Voilá! No Bugs Doggo Door 🤭
