Understood that #NoMoves is (at least partly) in jest, but lately I've been thinking that holding on to Castillo at least until the deadline, and showcasing Locklear/Young/Williamson etc. might put us in a far stronger position for next year (when Haniger/Garver come off the books woohoo!) ... 1/2

I am of course #NoMoves for life but if I were to discuss the Seattle Mariners as though they were a normal operation (a perilous concept) I would say their long-standing infatuation with “winning” every transaction has, at least in part, led to their slow start this winter.

I am of course Team #NoMoves for life but looks at this positional group. It's bad! And old! With basically little to no reinforcement coming in at least 2025 from the farm. The Mariners response to this is to talk about something called "shifting fluidity". www.mlb.com/news/mariner...
