Spent the morning watching the Red-crested Pochard pair at Ridgegate Reservoir Cheshire. New bird for me in Britain so was over the moon with the views and time I could spend studying both the Drake and female ✅ #ukbirding #northwestbirding #Ornithology #wildfowl #waterfowl #bird 🪶

My Time Machine that is #twentyearsdigital has landed in October 2008 and this Leach’s Petrel had struggled to make it out of the River Mersey where I was waiting with the 1D MK IIn. Difficult shooting conditions but worth the effort.
