I do #NoSpendJanuary every year to reset my spending habits and let my bank accounts recover after the holidays. My rules are simple: no non-essential spending. I think I'm going to do #BuyBlackFebruary going forward where I can buy non-essentials during Feb but only from Black-owned businesses.

As part of my no-spend January, I am batch cooking. I made 2 lots of soup for the freezer: Stilton & broccoli (leftover Stilton & broccoli reduced to 20p) + spicy parsnip. I bought extra of Lidl’s 8p veg with this in mind)
