#NotebookLLM has some major flaws.
Give it a website of PDF files but it cannot read the content of the remote files. It cannot download them to its archive to use them. It waffles endlessly with irrelevant replies.
#ChatGPT can do both of these things, read remote files and not waffle endlessly.

Often I want to add linked sources when using #notebookllm. So I created a simple web interface that gets the linked content for me as markdown. It is all downloadable as a zip, which can then be uploaded to NotebookLLM.

okay, my first experience with Google's NotebookLLM is not so positive. Four open access articles, all failed to load. With zero error message, with no guidance how to continue. It's just beta, so I hope they read this.

One of my favourite uses for #NotebookLLM is to create a series of supporting documents that highlight the strength of my writing. Of course it all could be a hallucination, but I'm enjoying the way it empowers me, gives me abit more confidence in my own creative explorations.
I knew all my sketches and drawings and binders would someday contribute to my second brain. I just didn't know it would be by code that reads my sketches and drawings.

#NotebookLLM took 3 sources (only 1 in English) and gave a very detailed and correct (as far as I can tell from the source translation) interpretation of a Roman Villa
This... is far better than the alternative! I don't see a strong argument against this.

After holding back for a long time I finally gave in to the notebook llm and was i overjoyed and disappointed severely within the span of 18 minutes. Input was a 72 pager document. First 12 minutes were gold and then remaining 5 came out as hallucinated content out of no where. #notebookllm
