There's the mystery of what happened earlier in the day when the Pharos Project actually happened, and this story deals with some of the fallout.

And while we don't know everything, the conversation between Biden and Alexandra Hanlon gives us some clues.

I don't feel like a natural writer. Probably one of the reasons I have to force myself to post on social media lately.
Creative writing doesn't come naturally to me. I struggle to bring the stories inside of me out into words.

This morning, I found myself musing on tolerance, which ended up being the focus of this morning's writing. 🧵

How do you find your character's voices? I'd love to know.

Good morning #WriteSky. It's all of four freaking degrees here this morning, and our pellet stove is struggling to warm the house right now. I'm in my office, wrapped in a shawl, working hard on the #nudgestories.
I have my editing hat on; yesterday, I moved a story into final draft.

This morning I've had the thrill of meeting a new character and discovering they're intersex. I've got some research to do. Any recommendations?

A screenshot shows a quote by David Cain, "But the 8-hour workday is too profitable for big business, not because of the amount of work people get done in eight hours (the average office worker gets less than three hours of actual work done in 8 hours) but because it makes for such a purchase-happy public. Keeping free time scarce means people pay a lot more for convenience, gratification and any other relief they can buy. It keeps them watching television and its commercials. It keeps them unambitious outside of work. We've been led into a culture that has been engineered to leave us tired, hungry for indulgence, willing to pay a lot for convenience and entertainment, and, most importantly, vaguely dissatisfied with our lives so that we continue wanting things we don't have. We buy so much because it always seems like something is missing."

I'm posting a screenshot of a quote (alt texted) that really resonates with me; it's something I think a lot about as I write the Nudge Stories.

What would our lives be like if our work hours were shortened? Would we be more creative? Build better relationships?

In the Nudge Stories, most people work twenty hours a week, with an extra ten being spent on Community tasks, the required work benefitting the community as a whole.

What would you do with that extra time?

We're just beginning, though; a new front-end is in the works, and S has agreed to document some of her experiences here, especially as it relates to accessibility, something we both feel strongly about.
And so, it begins. - {A}/Alexandra

What if the same penalties applied to those who maliciously spread misinformation? What could society be like if everything was based on a shared framework of reality and factual information?

When a friend gave me a rune reading, telling me I had to write a book, I acknowledged the message, tucked it into my subconscious and continued on living my life, which, like everyone's, has been affected by the general insanity happening all around us.

Like the stories, these threads will probably skip around. You'll probably read as much about #accessibility as it relates to #reactjs and web development as you will about the Nudge Stories themselves.

Please follow and repost if interested.

This account is going to focus on #writing the #nudgestories, how they came about in the way they did, the focus and even the weird and convoluted process we go through. And how we're converting a WordPress site to a headless version with an accessible front end using Reactjs?

Waiting on the Sun Brandon attends a Yule Celebration and learns a little more about Alexandra’s and Kevin’s unique relationship.

Have you ever wondered what would a solstice holiday celebration look like if it were held 150 years in our future and underneath the surface of the Earth?
