There was an announcement yesterday that Makino Maria-san will be graduating. I was so surprised when I heard the news. It was just my own assumption, but I thought I’d be able to see her as a member of Morning Musume for a little longer, so I’m sad. Makino-san is the senpai I look up to, and I’ve loved her ever since I was a trainee. She’s straightforward, stays true to herself, and is kind with a beautiful heart; And she never cuts corners during a performance. She always seemed so radiant to me, and ever since I entered this industry, she has been a person of perfect admiration for me from every perspective, so I’ve always wanted to be like her. I still feel that way now. So, when I heard about her graduation during the spring tour, it felt strange, like I couldn't tell if it was reality or a dream. But I want to support her dreams forever 🥹 She is truly such a kind and wonderful senpai, and she even looks out for someone like me.

Whenever we’re together at things like HelloCon, she calls out to me, saying "Natsumecchi." It’s a nickname only she uses for me 🥹 “Natsumecchi” just sounds so nice, doesn’t it ☺️ She even came to my birthday event; she’s truly a person full of love. When we did gravure work together, her consideration for the staff and her attitude toward work were truly amazing. Being able to work with someone like that felt like a dream, and it still does. I have so many things I love and admire about her that I could go on forever. But above all, I love Makino-san as an idol. She is incredibly radiant. I don't think there’s any idol who can beat that aura, and I don't think there ever will be. I’m sad this will be her final stage, but I’ll be cheering her on until the very end. And I want to give my absolute best for the spring tour starting tomorrow! I might not be able to pull off a cool performance like hers💦 But I’ll do my best in my own way😊 Look forward to the first day in Osaka!
