I just noticed that the capsules on Dionaea muscipula open to form splash-cups for raindrop dispersal of the tiny, black seeds (known to the cognoscenti as ombrohydrochory). How cool is that?! #Droseraceae #dispersal #ombrohydrochory #carnivorousplant #Botany 🌾🧪🌱
